2000 AQHA Black Stallion, approx. 94% Foundation

I added this nice stallion to the breeding program in the Fall of 2008, so my first breeding season with him will be in 2009.  He is super sweet and easy to handle.  He was also broke to ride when younger, but has been used for breeding lately.  He is also Homozygous for the Black gene, and can only sire Blacks, and other dark colors.  Never a Sorrel Foal!  Depending on the mares he is bred to... he can sire Blacks, Browns, Bays, Buckskins, Black Pointed Duns, Grullas, Grays, Bay Roans, and Blue Roans.

He is Homozygous for the Black base!

in early morning light. I didn't have time to do any grooming at all... I just pulled him out of his pen, and snapped several shots.   He is so pretty in person, and I just can't seem to capture that in photos.  He is correct and straight legged, with a gorgeous head, and nice build.  Good feet and legs too. 
(I tied his tail in a knot on the rear view to show his legs better.)
