2/15/1990 Black Mare
| I found this nice mare at a sale, when I wasn't
even looking for another broodmare, and after I saw her and her baby...
she was going home with me! The seller had bred her to a
couple Overo Paint studs, and got Solids with Chrome, but the were breeding
stocks, so he decided to sell her. The previous owner, and
Breeder of this mare is a friend of mine. They raised her,
and raised some Solids by an Overo Paint stallion too, and that is why
they sold her. They were very impressed with her foals, but
they weren't "Paints".
Every
one of her foals have been Black.
When I bought her, I already had a stallion
picked out to breed her back to. He was a Big Blue Roan I
was standing, and I thought she would cross good with him... and
she did. She foaled a really nice black filly in 2003, and another
in 2004, and a nice colt in 2005. All are Black. Her next
two were Blue Roans.
Cody is Bred back to my blue roan stallion,
Zach Blue, for an 08 foal.

Sonny was a 1982
AQHA Buckskin Incentive Fund Stallion that was AQHA Grand Champion and Western
Pleasure Winner, IBHA Supreme Champion and 1985 IBHA Reserve High Point Halter
Stallion. He has sired Outstanding Western Pleasure, Reining, Working cowhorse,
IBHA Supreme Champion, Multiple ROM's and AQHA World Qualifiers.
"Cody" is in foal to Zach Blue for
another Guaranteed Blue Roan foal in 2008.
